Precautions:

• The microwave detector probe should not be pointed at objects that may be active.

• Microwave detectors should not be aimed at fluorescent lamps, mercury lamps and other gas discharge light sources. The fluorescent lamp generated directly by the 100Hz modulation signal will cause false induction, especially in the case where a flickering fluorescent lamp is causing interference. This is because, within the flickering lights, the ionization of the gas is converted into microwaves for the reflector causing false positives.
